At Arden Forest Wellness we host the Metabolic Cancer Clinic and the Prediabetes Club whilst offering our patients and clients the most advanced hyperbaric oxygen, whole-body cryotherapy and red-light therapy equipment currently available. Arden Forest Wellness has been founded by science and industry veterans, Nick Crawford and Emma Wilson. ![]() Nick's research interests over the last decade have centred around polyphenols, the natural chemicals found in the flower buds, dark fruits, seeds and berries of many plants, particularly the improvement of the polyphenol's bioavailability as well as their role as antioxidants in the prevention and management of many chronic conditions. Over the last few years, and in particular since Nick's involvement in Arden Forest Wellness, this interest has extended to the metabolism of cancer and type II diabetes where he is at the forefront of the very latest initiatives and research involving low-carbohydrate nutrition in combination with hyperbaric oxygen therapy - the metabolic approach. Nick runs his own private laboratory and associated science library which is independent of any industry ties or funding which enables Nick to provide totally unbiased opinions on many areas of biochemistry and physiology. Nick is also a seasoned lecturer and public speaker. His current talks include: 'The Metabolic Approach to Cancer', 'The PSA Test: A Deeper Dive', 'The Eatwell Guide: A History and Critique' and 'The Demonisation of Fats: Justified or Not?'. Talks can be tailored for all audiences. If you would like Nick to talk at your event, please contact him at Arden Forest Wellness. ![]() In addition, Emma takes great pride in ensuring that all our cancer patients as well as those who are managing serious chronic conditions, feel completely at ease as they embark on what is often a long-term journey with us. She is also a recognised clinical expert in the testing of blood for the full gamut of tests that are performed at Arden Forest Wellness and has a strong interest in helping patients prevent and reverse chronic conditions both through integrative therapies as well as personalised lifestyle changes. Emma plays a key role in policy, training, and safeguarding whilst her skills of managing busy health-based businesses have been invaluable in setting up and running Arden Forest Wellness. |
